Why do I do this? I guess I'm possessed. Let's just say film is better than psychotherapy in a lot of ways, though probably just as expensive in the long run. After years of film festivals and dealing with fuckwits in 'the biz' I decided I'd be my own cottage industry, financed by whatever shitty job I could stomach. And this has led to some seriously shitty/dubious/sleazy employment scenarios. I've pretty much done it all, and anyone who knows me knows what I'm talking about without me needing to go into detail.

Anyway, a few years ago I decided to consolidate and try to find someone who had the same irrational compulsion to make films as I did. Then I met Scott Mueller. Given the type of people in this line of work, it's great to work with someone who's a bona fide friend in addition to collaborator.

So we've managed to pool our talents and make films and music videos using whatever local film resources are available, and without having to:

A) Relocate to New York or LA
B) Resort to using video. That's right, we're 'film only' snobs. Well, with one exception.

The point of all this is to get our stuff out there via non-industry means. We don't want to be beholden to whatever's commercially viable. It's our belief film studios and record labels are fast becoming obsolete. Fuck 'em. Our stuff is good and will be seen, one way or another. And we're open to offers of film-related employment, by the way.
